CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s golf team is ranked 10th in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches’ Poll, remaining in the top 10 after a previous ranking of ninth. Clemson is one of five ACC schools in the poll, and is joined in the top 10 by Florida State at eighth. Georgia Tech and Duke are 12th and 13th, respectively, and Wake Forest is ranked 20th. The top two spots did not change, with Stanford and Alabama ranked first and second, respectively.
Clemson last played in the Carpet Capital Classic at The Farm in Dalton, GA, where the tean finished 13th out of 18 teams. Red-shirt sophomore Ben Martin leads the team so far in scoring average with a 73.67 mark and one top-10 finish.
The Tigers will return to action October 7-9 at The Brickyard in Macon, GA.
