Swimmers Compete at NCAA Meet

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Clemson swimmer Ginny Kirouac placed 31st in the 200 IM at the 2000 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis, IN, on Thursday.

Kirouac, a sophomore from Norcross, GA, recorded a meters time of 2:17.60. She qualified for the meet with yards times of 2:03.57 in the 200 IM and 4:27.93 in the 400 IM. She will compete in the 400 IM on Friday.

Mandy Commons, a freshman from Cincinnati, OH, set the Clemson record this season with a time of 1:30.09 in the 100 breaststroke. She will compete in the event at nationals on Friday.
