Will Wynkoop

Position: Graduate Assistant Football Strength & Conditioning Coach

Will Wynkoop is entering his second year as a Graduate Assistant on the Clemson Football Strength and Conditioning coaching staff in 2021.

Prior to returning to Clemson in a graduate assistant capacity, Wynkoop spent the 2019 season working as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Atlanta Falcons. During his time with the organization, the Falcons had two Pro Bowl selections: Grady Jarrett, a former Clemson Tiger, and Julio Jones.

Before his opportunity with the Falcons, Wynkoop served as a student administrative assistant for four years under Joey Batson.

Wynkoop earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership.

Wynkoop is a native of Greenville, S.C. and a graduate of Christ Church Episcopal School, where he helped the Cavaliers to a 59-1 record and four SCHSL 1A State Championships. Wynkoop served as team co-captain during his senior year.

Wynkoop’s role within the Clemson Football Strength and Conditioning Department primarily consists of training the quarterbacks, while also working with the running backs, wide receivers and defensive backs.
