Overall:   Super Senior who is veteran of 19 tournaments and 55 rounds for the Clemson team…has 10 career rounds at par or better and 132 career birdies, 10 in Clemson history…her score has counted in 27 of 38 career rounds in the Clemson lineuip…will join Calista Rice  (super senior in 2022) as only five-year players (Super  Seniors) in the program’s  history…Academic All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association for 2020-21… had career best 66 at the Gator Invitational on March 9, 2019…that was just one stroke off the Clemson record…. in the Clemson lineup in 2019 ACC Tournament where she shot 234 at Sedgefield, including a 72 in the final round, second best among Clemson golfers that Apr. 20 day….starter in nine of the 11 tournaments as a freshman, she was fourth on the team in stroke average… named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2018-19.

In 2021-22:  Played in three tournaments overall, she was in the lineup for the Mason Rudolph Championship in the second tournament of the year…had solid second round 74 that was her best round of the year…tied for the second best round by a Tiger that day…played the Clover Cup and the Clemson Individual as an individual…her score counted in 2 of the three rounds she played in the Clemson lineup…had 11 birdies in the three tournaments.

In 2021:  Played in five tournaments, three in the Clemson lineup, all during the regular season…had 77.87 stroke average, sixth on the team…had 29 birdies to rank fifth on the team…had season best 72 in the final round of the Clover Cup, she finished season best 35th as an individual…finished 43rd at the Palmetto for her best finish when in the Clemson lineup…shot 13- over-par 229 in her last outing, the Clemson Invitational when she also played as an individual…had best round of 74 in the third round…had season best seven birdies at the Clover Cup…score counted in four of nine team rounds this year.

In 2019-20:  Played in one tournament in the fall and one in the spring… had 75.00 stroke average for those six rounds, she was fourth on the team in stroke average…Clemson’s second best performer at the White Sands Invitational in the Bahamas….shot an even-par 216 for a 14th place finish…had rounds of 68-77-71 on the par 72 course…her first round 68 was second best round of the fall by a Clemson player and best by a Clemson golfer at the White Sands Invitational…had nine birdies and an eagle in the tournament…her 216 score was the fifth best 54-hole tournament by a Clemson golfer in the fall….second best Tiger at that tournament by just one shot…played at the IJGA Collegiate in Mexico in the spring….her score counted in five of six rounds as a sophomore.

In 2018-19:   Had a 74.96 stroke average as a freshman to rank fourth on the  team…had two rounds in the 60s, for her only rounds under par for the year, but also had five rounds at even par, most on the team…had 78 birdies, she ranked third on the team, one ahead of senior All-American player Alice Hewson…had her career best round 66 at the Gator Invitational on March 9 in the second round of the day…that was the third best score all year by a Clemson women’s golfer…showed what she was cable of with a final round 69 in the Schooner Classic,just her fifth career round…finished with a solid 217 at that event in Oklahoma…had best finish of the fall at the Reynolds Plantation Invitational where she was 28th as an individual with a 229 score…had 218 score at the Gator Invitational where she had that second round 66 on the difficult Gator Course…finished 35th overall…had two even-par scores of 72 at the Clemson Invitational, two of her five even-par scores for the season…played well in the final rounds of the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament with rounds of 72…Clemson’s second best player in final round of ACC Tournament and best player in final round of NCAAs at Auburn….in fact that 72 in final round was best in any round by a Clemson player at 2019 NCAAs…had season best 11 birdies in three different tournaments, including the ACC Tournament…struggled in opening rounds with 76.1 average, but solid 74.0 in final rounds…had best round of the day three times and her score counted in 16 of 20 team rounds.

Prior to Clemson:  As a senior in high school, Burgess was named the SCJGA Player of the Year and the CGA Player of the Year…a member of the SCJGA Can-Am team as well….Lexington team won the 5A State championship as a senior, she finished third individually… named all-state, won the region championship… qualified for USGA 4-ball Women’s Amateur Championship…as a junior, 5A State Team Champions, she was second individually at the state tournament….team won the Region Championship…qualified for USGA Jr. Girls Championship… CGA Twin States Champion, she had a 67 in that tournament.… first female junior golfer to win the CGA Twin States, the CGA Vicki Disantis Championship and the CBA Junior Girls Championship in the same year…. WSCGA Junior Champion…The State Newspaper Midlands Golfer of the Year, The Lexington Chronicle Co-Female athlete of the Year…region runner-up individually at the boys tournament as a junior….as a sophomore, Lexington was 4A state runner-up…named all-state individually… qualified for USGA Jr. Girls Championship…ranked #2 in State Rankings…as a freshman, team won 4A State Championship… qualified for USGA Jr. Girls Championship as a freshman…also played soccer and was starting goalkeeper for the varsity girls team…played her high school golf for Brandon Smith.
