Overall:  Starter over the last two years…has 75.89 career stroke average…improved from 76.12 average to 75.40 as a sophomore…has five rounds under par and three rounds at par…played five tournaments during COVID19 shorted season of 2019-20…played in all 11 tournaments for the Clemson team as a freshman, she and Ana Paula Valdes were only Clemson players to do that in 2018-19… has 100 career birdies and one eagle…had one round in the 60s, three under-par rounds and four at par-or-better as a freshman….had 66 birdies and an eagle as a rookie, then 34 as a sophomore…fifth on the team in scoring average as a freshman and a sophomore…. had a 67 at Sun Trust as a freshman that is her career best… that was fourth best individual round on the team that year….named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2018-19…. won the 14-15-year-old division at the National Drive, Chip and Putt competition at Augusta National in 2015….her score has counted in 28 of 43 rounds she has played in the Clemson lineup.

2019-20:  Had fifth best stroke average on the team with a 75.40…had two under-par rounds and four rounds at par-or-better…had best finish in first tournament of the year with 28th place at Mason Rudolph where she shot 221…started that tournament very strong with rounds of 72-71,but finished with a 78…had 11 birdies for the tournament, tied most by a Tiger in any tournament…had second-round 70 at the Schooner on way to a 222 total…shot 223 at Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel, including second round 71…had 30 birdies for her 12 rounds in the fall…her score counted in nine of her 12 team rounds in the fall and for the year…played in one of the two tournaments in the spring as an individual…played in the FSU Matchup and finished 37th…had best score of the day three times, tied for third most on the team…her best round of all four events in the fall was the second round.

In 2018-19:  Showed what she was capable of with third round 67 at the Sun Trust Gator on March 10, 2019…she finished 35th with 218 score at that tournament, an opening round 79 kept her from a top 20 finish…got off to a good start with a 145 at the Mason Rudolph thanks to rounds of 71-74…that 145 total gave her a top 25 finish in her opening tournament….that is her career best finish entering 2020-21…had a middle round 70 on the way to a 219 score in her second career event at the Schooner Classic…had opening round even-par 72 at Clemson Invitational…got significant experience playing in the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Regional…had 66 birdies and an eagle in her first year…had season high 12  birdies in her first career tournament and added 10 at the Sun Trust…her score counted in 19-31 team rounds…had solid 70.82 driving percentage.

Before Clemson Comes to Clemson from Kings High School in Ohio where she was ranked as the top player in Ohio by National Junior Scoreboard, the AJGA and Golfweek….according to Golfweek, ranked 52nd overall, 14th in the class of 2018 and first in Ohio… played Symetra Tour event in Ohio in late June 2018 and finished in a tie for 44th after rounds of 72-72-72… as a senior led the state of Ohio in stroke average per nine holes with a 35.41 figure….had five top five finishes in AJGA events, including medalist honors at Penn State with a 54-hole score of three-under-par…..finished third at Caribbean Amateur in August 2018…finished third at the Dustin Johnson Junior Amateur in May 2018…had opening round 68 and led the tournament after the first day…also third at Memorial Junior and third at Justin Thomas Junior…fourth at Randy Wise Junior…21st at Rolex Junior Girls Championship…named All-City, and All-State when she  finished fourth at the state tournament….shot an eight-under 64 at the Optimist International qualifier at Yankee Trace GC in Dayton Ohio…shot another eight-under 64 to win the ECC conference championship at Walden Ponds in Hamilton Ohio… as a senior played on ECC  championship team that qualified for the district tournament for the first time…first-team all-city, first-team all-state …finished fourth in the Division 1 state championship (high school)…played in high school as a freshman and senior…as a freshman had 39.37 average, second in the conference…first-team All-City and All-Conference as a freshman….played her high school golf for Brian Parkhurst.

Personal:  Born Alexandra Swayne on  April 27, 2000 in Cincinnati, Ohio…daughter of Chuck and Julianne Swayne….her father played tennis at University of Wisconsin and the University of Tennessee….he held a world ranking for over eight years and played professionally for five years.
