Career:  Only super senior on the Clemson team in 2021-22, she will become the first Clemson women’s golfer to play in at least one tournament in five different seasons when she plays her first event this coming season… veteran of 18 tournaments and 51 rounds, third on the team among active players…has two rounds in the 60s and two rounds under-par…has five rounds at par or better….has 101 career birdies and one eagle, she went over 100 birdies at the NCAA Regional at Columbus, Ohio last May…had career best 69 at the 2019 Gator Invitational, she did it twice in that tournament…finished the 2020-21 season with a 76.25 average, fifth on the team… was playing her best golf in spring of 2020 when pandemic ended the season…had career best #22 finish at the FSU Matchup in final tournament of the year…Clemson’s third best golfer at IJGA Collegiate in 2020… made considerable improvement over the course of the 2018-19 season, highlighted by her performance at the Sun Trust Invitational as an individual when she posted back-to-back rounds in the 60s to start the tournament… has had at least one round of 75 in 10 of her last 11  tournaments….named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2018-19.

 In 2020-21:   Fifth on the team in stroke average (76.25), she  played just four tournaments, but two were the postseason events, ACC and NCAA….it was her first appearance in each event…had opening round 74 at ACC Tournament, she helped the Tigers to sixth-place finish with 231 score and 39th place finish…her score counted two of the three rounds at ACC Tournament,  and two of the three rounds at the NCAAs… finished 45th with a 227 score at the Clover Invitational, she had a season best even par 72 in the final round to help Clemson finish strong to reach fourth place…had nine birdies at that tournament…finished 48th at the Clemson Invitational, she shot 225 for the three rounds…finished strong with a 73… her score counted in eight of 12 rounds….had 3.21 average on par three holes, 4.29 on par fours and 4.92 on par fives….averaged 75.75 in final rounds.

In 2019-20:  Played as an individual in one tournament in the fall of 2019…finished 63rd at the White Sands Invitational in Bahamas, but had solid rounds of 74-74 for last 36 holes… in the Clemson lineup for both tournaments in the spring before the pandemic cancelled rest of the season…Clemson’s third best player at IJGA Collegiate in Mexico, she finished 49th with 227 score, she had seven birdies.…then finished 22nd with 232 score at FSU Matchup, helping Clemson to third-place team finish…for the year, had 76.11 stroke average for three tournaments…had 18 birdies in the nine rounds…her score counted in five of her six team rounds…had 4.92 average on par five holes. 

In 2018-19: Sixth on the team in stroke average as a sophomore at 76.61….showed improvement over the season…41-over-par for her first six rounds, then 45-over-par for her last 11…did not play a tournament in the fall, then had consecutive rounds of 69 as an individual at the Sun Trust in Gainesville, Fla….closed with a 79, but still finished 30th…had opening round 75 at Briar’s Creek, then opened with 74 at Evans Derby…had rounds of 74-72 at Clemson Invitational that wrapped up her season…had 12 birdies at Icon Invitational for her career high, then had 11 at Sun Trust Gator…finished the year with 38 birdies in 17 rounds, over two per round…her score counted in 4-6 team rounds…hit the fairway 73 percent of the time third best percentage on the team…averaged 75.0 in first round of tournaments…

In 2017-18: Did not see any action in the fall, then played five events in the spring…made debut at the Reynolds Plantation Individual Tournament and finished 49th …in the Clemson lineup at the Sugar Bowl and had rounds of 79-81-82…played as individual at Gator Invitational and had rounds of 78-77-81 to finish 67th…had opening round even-par 72 at Clemson Invitational as an individual, her best round of the year and first career even-par score…solid 72-76-74 to finish 50th in the strong national field…made her final appearance at Bryan National…had 76.60 stroke average in opening rounds and 79.4 in final rounds…averaged 5.08 on par five holes…finished season with 19 birdies.

In High School: As a senior at North Buncombe High School, Rice finished fifth at the State 3A (North Carolina) Championship, her second straight top five finish and third straight top 12 finish at the state tournament… ranked third in the state of North Carolina…Rice had a pair of victories in the Dogwood State Junior Championship and was runner-up at the Vicki DeSantis Junior Tournament…. also finished third at the AJGA Ez-Go Vaughan Taylor Championship….had a victory on the PKB Junior Tour as well….as a junior at North Buncombe she was a medalist in every regular-season match for the Black Hawks before winning the 3-A Western Regional tournament….Rice placed third at the NCHSAA 3-A tournament that year with a 148 score…her stroke average for nine-hole matches was 34.5….came to Clemson from North Buncombe High School where she graduated with high honors and won academic awards in four subjects…born Dec. 22, 1998.
