2021 Outdoor Season

• Opened his outdoor season by racing the 3,000m steeplechase at the Tiger Track Classic (March 19-20).
• Smith ran 9:33.82 as the lone finisher in the steeplechase at the Tiger Track Classic.
• Set a sizable personal best in the 5,000 meters during the Raleigh Relays (March 25-26), running 14:55.68.
• Set a personal best in the 1,500m at the Florida Relays (April 2-3), running 3:58.44.
• Ran the steeplechase at the Tennessee Relays (April 9), finishing with a time of 9:30.53.
• At the ACC Outdoor Championships (May 13-15), Smith ran 9:22.00 for the steeplechase. This was a lifetime best for Smith in the event.

2021 Indoor Season

• Made his season debut by contesting the mile and 3k at the Orange & Purple Elite (Jan. 9).
• During the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25-27), broke 8:30 for 3,000m for the first time in his career, going 8:26.76.
• Set a personal best in the mile at the South Carolina Invitational (Feb. 6), running 4:18.96.
• At the Tiger Paw Invite (Feb. 12-13), ran 8:30.09 for the 3,000m.
• At the Clemson Invitational (Jan. 15-16), Smith broke 4:20 in the mile for the first time in his career, running 4:19.36.
• Earned the victory in the mile at the Orange & Purple Elite, running 4:25.36.  Finished second in the 3,000m at the Orange & Purple Elite, running 8:51.37.

2019-20 Indoor Season Highlights

• Did not compete during this season.

2018-19 Season 

• Set a personal best in the 3km steeplechase at the ACC Championships (May 9-11), crossing the line in 9:27.80.
• Registered a time of 16:20.16 at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 21-23).
• Finished in second place at the Gamecock Invitational Outdoor (April 13), finishing in 9:47.19.
• Best finish of the indoor season was a 17th place finish during the 3km at the Bob Pollock Invitational. At that meet, Smith registered a time of 8:38.62.
• Competed in four meets during the indoor campaign.
