  • The second woman in Clemson’s history to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the 4x100m relay in each of her four years competing outdoors.

Season Highlights

2021 Outdoor Season

  • Opened her outdoor season by racing the 100m at the Tiger Track Classic (March 19-20).
  • At the Tiger Track Classic, Smith ran 11.63 — with a legal wind — to finish 5th overall.
  • Ran 11.29 (+2.9) for 100m during the FSU Relays (March 25-26).
  • Contested the 200m for the first time this season at the USC Open (April 17).
  • Set a season’s best for the 200m during the UCF Knights Invite (April 23-24), crossing the line in 23.86.
  • At the ACC Outdoor Championships (May 13-15), Smith contested the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m.
    • Earned second-team All-ACC honors in the 100m after running 11.49 in the final.
  • Contested the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m at the NCAA Preliminary East Region (May 26-29) meet.
    • In the 100m, finished 16th overall by rinning 11.38 into a headwind.
    • In the 200m, ran 23.81 during the first round of competition.
  • Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 9-12) as a member of the Tigers’ 4x100m relay.

2021 Indoor Season

  • Did not represent Clemson after exhausting her indoor eligibility during the 2020 indoor season.

2019-20 Season

  • Ran the No. 3 time in program history for the 60-meter dash, 7.23 seconds, at the LSU Twilight.
  • 2020 NCAA Indoor Championships qualifier in the women’s 60 meters.
  • Was the lone Clemson athlete to qualify for the finals of two individual events at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships.
  • Earned first-team All-ACC honors in the women’s 60 meters at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships.
  • Earned second-team All-ACC honors in the women’s 200 meters at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships.
  • Was named the ACC Women’s Track Performer of the Week on Feb. 26.
  • Earned seven top-three finishes throughout the season.
  • Was named a member of the 2020 Academic All-ACC team for the indoor track & field season. 

2018-19 Season

  • NCAA Second Team All-American in the 100m and 4x100m.
  • NCAA East Regional qualifier in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m.
  • ACC Championships medalist in 100m, 200m, and 4x100m.
    • Point-scorer in all three events
  •  Earned a personal best in the 300m at the Clemson Opener (38.76).

2017-18 Season

  • Ranks fourth all-time in the 60m dash with a time of 7.26 seconds
  • Ranks sixth all-time in program history in the indoor 200m dash with a time of 23.30 seconds
  • Ranks second all-time in 100m dash with a time of 11.22 seconds
  • Achieved All-ACC status in five events between indoor and outdoor ACC championships
  • Earned third-place finishes to garner first-team All-ACC in 60m and 200m dashes at ACC indoor championships
  • Member of second-team All-American 4x100m relay, which placed 13th at NCAA outdoor championships
  • Member of SMR team that won Championship of America race at 2018 Penn Relays

2016-17 Season

  • Won ACC indoor 60m dash as a freshman with a time of 7.31 seconds
  • ACC outdoor championships runner-up in 100m dash
  • Member of ACC outdoor championships runner-up 4x100m relay
  • Earned first-team All-American accolades in 4x100m relay after placing fifth
  • Qualified for NCAA East Prelims in 100m and 4x100m
  • Competed in 2017 USATF Junior Championships in the 100m and 200m dashes
