Eve Jackson

Eve hails from Los Angeles, Calif. and enjoyed a successful two seasons at Utah State. She has seen time competing in vault, bars, beam and floor, registering 9.825, 9.900, 9.775 and 9.900 career-highs, respectively. Jackson also earned MRGC bar specialist of the week during the 2022 campaign.

Sophomore Year (2022 – Utah State): Competed on vault, bars and floor in all 13 meets… Ranked 23rd in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference and 45th in the North Central Region with a National Qualifying Score of 9.795 on vault… Ranked 21st in the MRGC and 42nd in the region with an NQS of 9.795 on bars… Tied for ninth in the conference and tied for 24th regionally with a floor NQS of 9.865… Tied for eighth on vault (personal-best 9.825), tied for 14th on bars (9.850) and placed 23rd on floor (9.775) in Session 1 of the second round of the NCAA Norman Regional (3/31)… Tied for 17th on vault (9.750) and tied for fifth on floor (9.850) at the conference championships (3/19), helping the Aggies win their first-ever MRGC title… Captured her first event title of the season with a career-best 9.900 on bars against Air Force (1/14)… Tied for first on bars with a 9.850 and tied for third on floor with a personal-best 9.900 against No. 23 Towson (2/27)… Had career-best scores of 9.900 on floor in three-consecutive meets, tying for fourth at No. 24 Boise State (2/18), tying for second in a home tri meet against No. 12 BYU and No. 23 Towson (2/25), and then again two days later against the Tigers in the regular season finale.

Freshman Year (2021 – Utah State): Competed on bars, beam and floor in her first season at Utah State… Ranked 20th in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference and 41st in the North Central Region with a National Qualifying Score of 9.825… Tied for 19th in the league and tied for 37th in the region with an NQS of 9.838… Averaged 9.633 on bars and 9.744 on floor… Placed 49th on floor with a 9.600 at the Salt Lake City NCAA Regional Second Round (4/2)… Tied for eighth on floor (9.850) and tied for 17th on bars (9.775) at the MRGC Championships (3/21)… Made her collegiate debut at the Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet (1/9), where she tied for second on bars with a season-best 9.850… Matched her season high of 9.850 on bars at the following meet against No. 19 Southern Utah (1/22), tying for fourth… Tied for 10th on beam with a career-best 9.775 at No. 17 Southern Utah (2/19)… Tied for fourth on floor with a season-best 9.875 at No. 11 BYU (2/26)… Garnered academic all-MRGC accolades.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Trained at Broadway Gymnastics School in Los Angeles, California… Placed first on vault at the 2019 California Grand Invitational, the New Orleans Jazz Invitational and the Fiesta Bowl… Began competing as a level-10 gymnast in 2018, where she placed 10th on vault at the SoCal State Championships and seventh on bars at the Region 1 Championships… In 2017, as a level-9 gymnast, captured gold on vault at the state championships, and won gold in the all-around and on vault, and silver on bars at the regional championships… She later captured silver on vault at the Western Championships… Graduated from Brentwood School in Los Angeles in 2020.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Byron and Beryle Jackson… Has two step-siblings… Her father played in the NFL, CFL and World League… Her uncle, DeSean Jackson, is a wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, having also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Football Team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams…
