Six Baseball Tigers Ranked Among Nation’s Top-50 of Their Class

Six Tiger baseball players, including four freshmen, are ranked among the nation’s top-50 players of their respective classes by Baseball America. Righthander David Kopp (Margate, FL) (#9), shortstop Stan Widmann (Hurst, TX) (#14), infielder Taylor Harbin (Travelers Rest, SC) (#17), and outfielder Brad Chalk (Greer, SC) (#34) are freshmen who are all ranked in the top 35. First baseman Andy D’Alessio (Naples, FL) (#17) is ranked among the sophomores, while pitcher/DH Kris Harvey (Catawba, NC) (#48) is listed among the juniors.
