Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf sophomore Ivy Shepherd was ranked among the 25 United States golfers who are listed in the fall Arnold Palmer Cup Ranking for the 2020 matches. Shepherd earned the No. 22 position, which was announced on Friday.
The top-six golfers from the final rankings issued in the spring on both the United States and International side will be selected to participate in the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup.
With the Golfstat NCAA Player Ranking used as a baseline, the Arnold Palmer Cup Ranking awards bonus points for tournament wins and high finishes while also penalizing for poor finishes. In addition to individual finishes, the ranking takes into consideration the strength of schedule.
The next Arnold Palmer Cup Ranking will be announced on February 20.
