Rowing to Hold Seventh Annual Class Day Regatta This Weekend

Clemson’s rowing team will hold its seventh annual Class Day Regatta this Sunday, October 17. The event features three separate races between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. Each boat will be dressed in a theme or the rowers will be in costume instead of the traditional uniform.

The first race of the day will be held at 10:00 AM, with two boats of freshmen competing against one another in a 2,000 meter event. At 10:20, there will be an alumni race between two groups of 8+. The alumni race will cover 1,000 meters. The third and final race will take place at 10:40, as the sophomores, juniors, and seniors compete in the 2,000 meter class event.
