Rowing Receives Votes in CRCA Preseason Poll

Clemson is receiving votes in the preseason US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) poll released Wednesday. Princeton University claimed the top spot with 12 first-place votes, while Yale (3) and Brown (7) were ranked second and third, respectively. The first regular season poll will be released on March 30.

The Tigers got their spring season underway last Saturday with a convincing performance against Eastern Michigan. Clemson won all five events on Lake Hartwell. The Tigers return to action this Saturday, March 12. Clemson will scrimmage Georgetown on Lake Hartwell. The two schools will compete in 1,500 meter pieces with the first race scheduled for 8:30 AM.
