Athens, GA – The Clemson women’s track & field team competed Saturday at the Georgia Relays. The meet was held at the Spec Towns Track on the University of Georgia campus. Polly Hardy posted a regional qualifying mark in the 100m hurdles to highlight Clemson’s efforts.
Hardy posted a regional-qualifying time in her first 100m hurdles competition this season. She had a time of 13.62, which moves her into third place on the Lady Tigers’ all-time performance list. She passed Marcia Noad (formerly Fletcher), currently the head coach at Clemson. Hardy won the event, while fellow hurdler Krystal Barringer clocked a time of 14.50 in finishing fifth.
The 4x100m relay squad won their event on Saturday as well. The group of Ra’Sheena Parker, Michaylin Golladay, and Kristine Scott completed the 400m with a time of 46.20, just shy of a regional-qualifying effort.
