After being held to just 4 points on 2-7 shooting in the first half, Solomon came back to his dominant self and scored 25 in the second half and climbed the Clemson record books while doing so. He moved ahead of Chris Whitney with a three pointer just 3 minutes into the second half to trail only Terrell McIntyre for three pointers made by a Clemson player. In addition to his stellar offensive performance when the Tigers needed him most, Solomon had an integral part in pressuring Anthony Grundy into a 6-27 shooting night and 17 points. Solomon continues to lead the ACC in scoring with almost 22 a game and is close to breaking into the top 10 nationally, and soon enough will with performances like today’s in Littlejohn.
