MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine remained undefeated by beating Clemson 6-1 in men’s tennis on Saturday afternoon. Pepperdine won two out of three doubles matches and five out of six singles matches against the Tigers.
In doubles, Pepperdine’s seventh ranked duo of Sebastien Graeff and Anthony Ross defeated Clemson’s 14th ranked team of Josh Goffi and Darren Knight by a score of 8-5. In singles, Darren Knight picked up the lone point for the Tigers with his victory over Chase Exon at the number-four position.
With the loss the 32nd ranked Tigers fell to 12-7 on the year but remain 2-0 in the ACC. Pepperdine improved to 15-0 on the year. Clemson’s next match is on Tuesday March 21 at 17th ranked Fresno State.
