Clemson fans are encouraged to purchase the $14.95 t-shirt on-line, via phone or in person at participating Clemson area merchants. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go towards the Clemson Air Force and Army ROTC programs.

The 2006 Military Appreciation Day activities are almost finalized for the Clemson-N.C. State football game on Saturday, November 11, 2006 in Clemson’s Memorial Stadium. Kickoff time will be set 10-14 days prior to the game and announced on our website www.clemsontigers.com.

Here are the directions for ordering discounted tickets to those fans associated with the military either as a current soldier or a veteran.

1. Go to www.clemsontigers.com 2. Select 2006 Football Home Game Tickets on the right hand side. 3. Click on the Promotional Link and type “MAD”.

This year’s festivities will feature a salute to those who served in the Vietnam War in addition to our recognition of veterans of all the wars, our current soldiers and our fallen soldiers from North Carolina and South Carolina since our last Military Appreciation Day on September 2, 2005.

2006 Military Appreciation Day — Saturday, November 11, 2006 9:00 am – Military Equipment Display – Bowman Field 1 1/2 hours – Tiger Band concert in the amphitheater 1 hour – Cadets, veterans and current soldiers march to Memorial Stadium from Holmes Hall & McCabe Hall

Tiger Band Military Halftime Salute Vietnam veterans enter from the West Endzone on the North side of the field. All other veterans enter from the West Endzone on the South side of the field.

Instructions will be announced during the first half on where to go to participate in the halftime ceremonies.
