Men’s Soccer to Face Duke Saturday Night in Durham

The second-ranked Clemson men’s soccer team will play Duke in Durham, NC Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in the first ACC match of the season for the Tigers.

Clemson is ranked second in the NSCAA and Soccer America polls, (September 9). The Tigers are also ranked tied for second with UCLA in the Soccertimes.com poll (September 9). Clemson has a 2-0-1 record overall and is coming off a 3-1 win over UNC-Greensboro last Sunday afternoon. In that match Fabio Tambosi had three assists.

Dimelon Westfield is Clemson’s leading scorer with five points. He has two goals and one assist this season. Tambosi has four assists to lead the team. This will be the 40th meeting between Clemson and Duke on the soccer field. The series is tied 18-18-3. Duke has a 2-1-1 record this season.
