Men’s Soccer Schedule Announced

Head Coach Trevor Adair announced the 2006 Men’s Soccer schedule Monday afternoon. After an exhibition tournament at Akron, the Tigers will open the 2006 season at South Carolina on Friday, August 25. The first home match will be against Georgia State at 7:00 p.m.

Clemson will play at the Memphis Tournament on Friday, September 1 and Sunday, September 3. Clemson will play Maryland, Wofford, North Carolina, and Longwood in a four-match home stand in the middle of September.

After road matches at N.C. State and Virginia, Clemson will play host to Wake Forest on Tuesday, October 3. Clemson will play three straight road matches at Furman, Winthrop and Virginia Tech before playing UNC-Asheville at home on Wednesday, October 18.

The Tigers will conclude the season at Boston College on Saturday, October 21 and will play host to Duke in the regular-season finale on Friday, October 27. Clemson will play in the ACC Tournament on November 1-5 at College Park, MD.

“Once again, we will play a very difficult schedule which includes a large number of road games. We are looking forward to the challenges, and we are looking to build from the success we had last year.”
