Clemson, SC – The Clemson men’s cross country schedule was announced Friday by Head Coach Bob Pollock. The Tigers will compete in five events, including the ACC Championships and Southeast Regional Championships. Clemson will also play host to a cross country event on September 9.
The Clemson Invitational marks the beginning of the cross country season for the men’s team. Last year, the Tigers won the event and returning All-Region performer Itay Magidi, return to give the Tiger team a solid nucleus for the 2006 season.
On September 30, the Tigers will travel to Louisville, KY to take part in the Louisville Classic. That event will be held at the same course that will serve as the site for the NCAA Southeast Regional on November 11. The Tigers will travel to Terre Haute, IN for the Pre-NCAA Championships on October 14 to get a look at the National Championship course.
The ACC Championships will take place in Charlottesville, VA this season. The meet is scheduled for October 28. Last season, Clark was the runner-up for the conference crown.
