Legend Robertin joined the men’s basketball program after spending the 2014-15 season at Chipola Junior College in Florida. Robertin, who has only played organized basketball for a few years, first came to campus in August, and will battle Landry Nnoko and Sidy Djitte for playing time at the center position.
“Legend can really run and block shots,” said head coach Brad Brownell. “He has good athleticism to finish at the rim. He’s a great third big man as a young player learning from Landry and Sidy and battling against those guys every day. He’s a little behind because he wasn’t here in the summer. So it’s going to take him a little bit of time. He has some tools that you just can’t teach. He’s all of 7-feet tall and 250 pounds and we’re excited that he’s here.”
