CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson gymnastics returns to Littlejohn Coliseum on Friday, February 14, for the first of three-straight home meets, hosting No. 19 NC State in the annual Pink Meet. The matchup is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ACCNX.
Last weekend, Clemson earned its highest bars score of the season (49.250) and Brie Clark earned a 9.95 on floor, but the Tigers ultimately fell at North Carolina, 195.800-196.575. NC State is coming off a 196.475 overall score at Pitt on Saturday.
Earlier this season, the two teams met in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, with Clemson earning a 195.350 to NC State’s 195.000.
The Tigers are No. 27 nationally and ranked in the top 25 on vault. The Wolfpack are No. 19 nationally and ranked in the top 25 on vault, bars, and beam, and in the top 20 on floor.
Friday’s meet is designated as the annual “Pink Meet”. Fans will have the opportunity to use a pre-meet photo booth, will have a chance for a pink pom and will have the opportunity to meet select student-athletes following the meet in Burton Gallery.
Presale tickets are sold out for Friday’s meet, but a small number of walk-ups will be available at the Burton Gallery ticket windows on Friday, beginning when doors open at 6:00 p.m.
