CLEMSON, SC — The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will face the 14th-ranked Tar Heels of North Carolina on Jan. 4 in Chapel Hill, NC. Tip off is slated for 2:00 PM.
Clemson enters the game with an 11-1 (1-0 ACC) record, its best start since the 1998-99 season. The Lady Tigers defeated Virginia, 58-55, on Jan. 2 to open ACC play for both teams.
Clemson is led in scoring and in rebounding by senior guard Lakeia Stokes, who is averaging 18.7 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.
North Carolina enters the game with a number-14 ranking and an 11-1 record (1-0 ACC). The Tar Heels defeated Wake Forest, 90-79, on Jan. 2 to open conference play for both teams.
Camille Little leads the Tar Heels in scoring and in rebounding, averaging 14.6 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.
Following the North Carolina game, the Lady Tigers will return home to play host to Florida State on Jan. 8 at 7:00 PM.
