CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play UNC-Asheville at Asheville, NC Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
Clemson is coming off a 64-41 win over East Carolina Thursday night and has a 8-4 record this season. UNC-Asheville has a 1-8 record overall this season.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by freshman Chrissy Floyd with a 11.9 ppg. average. Erin Batth leads Clemson in rebounding with a 7.7 rpg. mark. UNC-Asheville is led in scoring by Jessica Guarneri and Joy Marschall as both players are averaging 11.2 ppg. Tonisha Jackson leads the Bulldogs in rebounding with a 7.2 rpg. mark.
This will be the third meeting between Clemson and UNC-Asheville on the basketball court. The Lady Tigers lead the overall series 2-0.
