Clemson Notes:

  • Sophomore Nelly Perry is coming off a career-high 23 points (8-19 FG, 6-10 FT) in 36 minutes of action at Virginia Tech on Monday, Jan. 18.
  • Perry has scored 12 or more points in her last eight games, she is averaging 15.3 points per game this season, good for seventh in the ACC and 17.5 points per game in league play.
  • Freshman Danielle Edwards was named ACC Rookie of the Week (Dec. 28) following her 20-point performance in a win over UNC-Asheville on Dec. 21; she is the first Clemson rookie to garner the award since 2012-13.
  • Edwards (32.7) and Perry (32.7) both rank eighth in the ACC in minutes played per game.
  • Freshman Aliyah Collier is the Tigers’ leading rebounder on the season (5.4 rpg) and in league play (7.0 rpg); the rookie is also Clemson’s second leading scorer in ACC play (9.3 ppg).
  • Clemson has utilized eleven different starting lineups this season; Danielle Edwards and sophomore Justice Wright have appeared in every starting lineup.

Opponent & Series Notes:

  • Duke has fallen out of the AP poll for the first time since November of 1999; the Blue Devils’ 16-year ranked streak is the third longest in the history of the poll.
  • Clemson holds a 32-38 record all-time against Duke, with the Tigers’ last win over the Blue Devils coming on Dec. 9, 2000.
  • The two teams most recently played on Feb. 8, 2015, a contest in which Duke won 89-60 in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
  • Duke is led in scoring and rebounding by sophomore post Azura Stevens who is averaging 17.9 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game.
  • The Blue Devils rank second in the ACC in rebounding margin (+9.2) and third in blocked shots per game (5.2).
