Lady Tiger 4x400m Relay Team Sets School Record At Iowa State Last Chance Meet

AMES, IA – The Clemson women’s track and field team completed regular-season competition at the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier held Saturday. The Lady Tigers’ 4x400m relay team of Silja Ulfarsdottir, Jessica Cousins, Randi Hinton and Sierra Hill placed third with a school record and provisional qualifying time of 3:34.76. The team broke the previous school record of 3:34.83 set in 2001 by Michelle Burgher, Cydonie Mothersill, Marcia Smith and Shekera Weston. Ulfarsdottir, Hinton and Hill also competed in the 200m dash. Ulfasdottir placed 10th with a season-best time of 24.15, Hinton was 12th in 24.25 and Hill finished 16th in 25.19.

The 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships begin on Friday, Mar. 11 and will be held in Fayetteville, AR.
