Jonathan Sunde Named to All-ACC Academic Team for Men’s Cross Country

GREENSBORO, NC – Clemson junior Jonathan Sunde was among 23 student-athletes named to the 2009 All-ACC Academic Team for men’s cross country on Friday. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade-point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA during her academic career.

This is the second straight year Sunde has received the honor from the conference office. He was consistently one of the top two performers on the men’s team last fall. The Charlotte, NC native was the team’s No. 2 finisher at both the ACC Championships and NCAA Southeast Regionals. He also was runner-up in the season-opening Gamecock Invitational last September.
