Former Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Clemson Hall of Famer Jim Davis will be the featured speaker at the Lady Tigers’ awards banquet on April 10.
Davis spent 18 seasons as Clemson’s head coach, winning 355 games, and making 14 NCAA Tournament appearances and 11 top-25 finishes. Davis coached current head coach Itoro Coleman for all four of her seasons as a player, and the two helped lead the Lady Tigers to ACC Championships in 1996 and 1999.
Coleman was an assistant on Davis’ staff for three seasons, from 2002-05. Davis is currently an assistant coach at Young Harris College (GA), after spending a pair of seasons with the Minnesota Lynx WNBA franchise.
