CLEMSON, S.C. — Natoya Goule finished her lone season with Clemson by finishing sixth in the women’s 800-meter final Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. Goule’s three points were the only scored by the Tigers. The native of Clarendon, Jamaica, ran to a time of 2:05.19.
Also on Saturday, sophomore triple jumper Iana Amsterdam was ninth place in her first-ever NCAA outdoor national meet. The New Jersey product jumped 43-1 behind a strong tailwind, and earned second-team All-America honors for the second time in 2015.
The Tigers finished in a tie for 51st as a team, while Oregon made it a clean sweep of the men’s and women’s championships on its home track.
