The Tiger baseball team became the most recent Clemson squad to visit the GHS Children’s Hospital in Greenville, S.C. John Suchon of Valiant Player helped schedule Wednesday’s trip to visit different parts of the children’s hospital.
The team arrived at the hospital and was immediately welcomed by a young boy named Sam, who was in the hospital last year when the team made its visit. This time, Sam was getting to go home rather than receiving treatment.
The teams then split up into different groups, and each one visited various areas within the children’s hospital, including the neonatal intensive care unit and the hematology and oncology floors of the hospital.
Once again, this trip was very rewarding for everyone involved, and everyone at the hospital was very appreciative of not only the baseball team, but all the Clemson teams that take the time to visit these children.
