CLEMSON, S.C. – Four members of the Clemson diving team, senior Megan Helwagen, junior Sarah Braun and freshmen Sarah Blank and Caylin Hirapara, have been named CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-Americans for the 2015-16 season. In addition to her three career CSCAA academic honors, Braun, an elementary education major from Beaverton, Ore., is also a two-time member of the All-ACC Academic Diving Team. This is the first career Scholar All-America honor for Helwagen, a native of Mason, Ohio who graduated from Clemson with a degree in accounting in May 2016. Blank (pre-business major, Midland, Texas) and Hirapara (English major, Jacksonville, Fla.) earned the academic recognition in the first year of their collegiate diving careers.
