Position: Defensive Player Development
Zach Terrill is in his first season in a defensive player development role at Clemson in 2025.
Terrill joined Clemson after serving as a defensive analyst at Penn State in 2024 under current Clemson Defensive Coordinator Tom Allen. Terrill helped the Nittany Lions to a school-record 13 wins and a College Football Playoff semifinal berth.
Terrill entered the coaching ranks as a student assistant coach at his alma mater, Olivet Nazarene, where he coaches outside linebackers from 2019-21. He briefly served as a graduate assistant at Midland University in early 2021 before assuming the role of safeties coach at the University of Indianapolis for the 2021-23 seasons. Terrill then spent one season in a graduate assistant role at Kent State in 2023.
Before transitioning to coaching, Terrill played linebacker for three seasons at Olivet Nazarene, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in health and physical education in 2020. He is married to his wife, Shariden, and has a daughter, Dage.
