Position: Director of Football Video & Technology
Sam Ogden is in his fifth season as Clemsonâs director of football video after joining the program in early 2020. In this role, Ogden oversees Clemsonâs football video department, including the shooting, processing and management of all game and practice video as well as producing internal video content for the team and staff.
Ogden joined Clemson after spending two seasons at Arkansas in the same capacity from 2018-19. His service at Arkansas was part of five years he served under former Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris, including three years at SMU from 2015-17.
Ogden, a 2014 graduate of Jacksonville State with a degree in communications, worked with Jacksonville Stateâs football team for four years and the menâs basketball teams for three seasons. He later earned his masterâs degree in sports management from the school in 2016. Following his final year at Jacksonville State, Ogden was selected the FCS Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA). He spent the 2014 football season as the video coordinator at the University of South Alabama.
A native of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Ogden is married to his wife, Chloe, and has a son, Lincoln.
