Clemson’s Cydonie Mothersill Named ACC Performer of the Week

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson senior Cydonie Mothersill was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week for her efforts at the Tiger Classic last weekend.

Mothersill recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 6.86 in the 55m dash, which was the top ACC performance this season. Her time, which converts to 7.36 in the 60m dash, was the best time posted in Division I competition last weekend and ranks second on the national qualifying list. Mothersill was also a member of Clemson’s 4x400m relay team that posted an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:44.28, also the fastest time in the ACC this season.

The Clemson women’s track and field team will compete at Arkansas Feb. 9 and 10.
