Clemson Women’s Track And Field Team To Compete At Florida Relays

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team will compete at the 61st annual Coca-Cola Florida Relays this weekend in Gainesville at the Percy Beard Track and Field Complex. The Lady Tigers will begin competition on Friday with the 100m hurdles at 10:50 AM. The meet is slated to conclude on Saturday with the 4x400m relay at 5:55 PM.

On Friday, the Lady Tigers will take the track for the first event at 10:50 in the 100m hurdles, as Jelyn Quick competes for Clemson. At 12:15 PM, Jelyn Quick will represent Clemson in the 100m dash preliminaries. Jessica Cousins and Randi Hinton will compete in the 200m dash at 2:35 PM. At 6:55 PM, the 4x200m relay team will take to the track, and the Lady Tigers’ sprint medley relay team will compete at 8:30 PM to round out the first day of competition.

In Friday’s field events, Della Clark and Krystal Woods will compete in the discus throw scheduled for 12:00 AM, while Beth Jordan, Krissy Thompson and Sara Young represent Clemson in the pole vault at the same time.

The running events resume for Clemson on Saturday at 2:30 PM with the 4x100m relay, and the Lady Tigers’ distance medley relay team will take to the track at 3:20 PM. Finals for the 100m hurdles are scheduled for 4:20 PM, followed by the 100m dash finals at 4:55 PM. The 4x400m relay team will race at 5:55 PM in the last women’s event of the meet.

Della Clark will compete in the shot put, while Michelle Rogers compete in the triple jump. Also slated for 3:00 PM, the high jump competition will feature Katie Pickett.
