Clemson Women’s Soccer Team To Face Tennessee Sunday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s soccer team will face Tennessee for the championship of the Clemson Invitational Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. on Riggs Field.

Clemson has a 4-2 record overall and is ranked 18th by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America), and 12th by Soccer America. The Lady Tigers are ranked 17th by the Soccertimes.com poll.

Western Carolina will play Butler at 12:30 p.m. in the other game. In action on Friday, Tennessee defeated Western Carolina 3-1 and Clemson defeated Butler 4-1.

The Clemson-Tennessee match will be televised on a tape-delayed basis on Monday by Comcast on selected cable outlets.
