Clemson Women’s Soccer Exhibition Game Cancelled Due to Weather

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s soccer team played less than 35 minutes of its exhibition game against South Florida at Historic Riggs Field on Friday night before the game was cut short due to weather. The two teams attempted to outlast the weather delay, which began at approximately 7:50 PM, but at 9:40 PM, the weather prevailed and the game was cancelled.

The Tigers will travel to Tuscaloosa, AL on Sunday to face Alabama in their second exhibition game of the preseason. The game will kick off at 7:00 PM ET. Clemson will open the 2011 regular season against South Carolina State at Historic Riggs Field on Friday, August 19 at 7:00 PM.
