Clemson Women’s Basketball Team Introduces “Lady Tiger Elementary School Night”

Oct. 23, 2009

The Clemson women’s basketball team is partnering with area elementary schools to introduce “Lady Tiger Elementary School Night.” The Lady Tiger basketball team would like to recognize local elementary schools at a home game this season. Each school is encouraged to sign up for a game of their choice and make that game special to their school. During the game, Clemson will recognize any achievements by the students, whether they are academic, athletic, or community-related.

Any chorus group interested in singing the national anthem or a dance team that would like to perform at halftime can gladly be accommodated, based on availability. In addition, one student of the school’s choice will be the Coca-Cola Tip Off Kid and will receive a free t-shirt, hat, a gift card toward concessions, and recognition during the game.

Admission for the game will be free for students, faculty, and staff of the school. A three-dollar ticket will be available for parents.

The Lady Tigers hope to partner with many elementary schools to recognize any outstanding students and faculty and to allow them to enjoy Lady Tiger Basketball!

Please contact Alicia Mackey at amackey@clemson.edu to schedule a night for your school.
