Clemson Will Play at Virginia Tech Thursday Night in Blacksburg, VA

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers will enter the match with a 7-8-1 record overall and a 3-4 record in the ACC.

Clemson is led in scoring by Brynjar Benediktsson with seven goals and four assists for 18 points. Austin Savage has five goals and three assists for 13 points.

The Tigers are unbeaten in five of their last six matches. Clemson defeated number-one ranked Maryland on Friday and defeated Wofford on Monday night in Spartanburg, SC.

Virginia Tech is 4-11-2 overall and 1-5-1 in league play. Ben Strong leads the team in scoring with two goals and two assists for six points.

This will be the 10th meeting between Clemson and Virginia Tech on the soccer field. The series is tied 3-3-3.
