CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team has increased its presence on the internet with the addition of a twitter page. Follow the Tigers throughout the 2010 season and beyond at twitter.com/ClemsonVB. They also have a Facebook fan page, “Clemson University Volleyball.”
The social networking standards will allow the Volleyball team to stay in touch with fans and update fellow Tigers on the team and the season.
The volleyball team has earned a reputation for excellent fan experiences. Last season, the Volleyball team drew the fourth-highest attendance of any Clemson sport. Additionally, 2,175 fans turned out to the season opener against South Carolina, the second-highest mark in school history.
The 2010 team will be young and exciting, with six sophomores and five freshmen and only one senior. Clemson made its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance last year, tying a school record.
