Clemson University CLEMMY Awards – Award Winners

CLEMSON, SC – On Monday, April 15, the Clemson Athletic Department held its first CLEMMY Awards program at Littlejohn Coliseum.  Awards were presented for academic and athletic excellence for the past year.  Below is a list of the award winners and an explanation of each award category.

All-Academic TeamAward is presented to the student-athlete from each team that has earned the highest cumulative grade point average following sixty or more hours earned at Clemson University

Jon McGibbon – Baseball (walk-off homerun against #1 Florida State in the 2012 ACC Tournament)

Solid Orange MalePresented to an individual who exemplifies a Clemson student-athlete through leadership, athletic performance, service, academics, and sportsmanship
