CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer team travels to Charleston this weekend to face professional side the Charleston Battery. The match is set for Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at MUSC Health Stadium. The match is open to the public and admission is free.
The Battery finished the 2015 season with an 12-6-10 overall record and reached the conference semifinals of the USL 3rd division. The Battery will be playing its final preseason game before opening the season against the New York Cosmos on March 19.
Clemson hosted Appalachian State this past Saturday, winning 1-0. The Tigers have two more games on the spring schedule following Saturday’s match. Clemson hosts Duke on Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. which will be part of the program’s Alumni Weekend celebration.

Feb. 27 – vs. Pfeiffer, 4 p.m.
March 5 – vs. Appalachian State, 6 p.m.
March 12 – at Charleston Battery, 2 p.m.
April 2 – vs. Duke, 2 p.m. (Part of the program’s Alumni Weekend celebration.)
