Clemson Track Individuals Advance At NCAAs

DURHAM, NC- – Todd Matthews and Shawn Crawford both advanced in their respective events at the NCAA Men’s Track and Field meet at Durham, NC Thursday evening.

In the 100 meter dash, Shawn Crawford advanced to the semifinals with a time of 10.26. This was the ninth best qualifying time at the meet.

In the 110 meter high hurdles, Todd Matthews had the 10th best qualifying time with a time of 13.90.

On Friday, Fred Sharpe will compete in the 400 meter hurdles finals, while Shawn Crawford will run in the 100 and 200 meter dash semifinals. Andy Giesler will start competition in the decathlon Friday.
