CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play Virginia in Charlottesville, VA Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
Clemson has a 11-6 record overall, and a 2-3 mark in the ACC. The Lady Tigers are 5-1 at home this season. The Lady Tigers have won four of their last six games. Virginia will enter the game with a 13-4 record overall and a 5-1 mark in the ACC.
This will be the 48th meeting between Clemson and Virginia on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 26-21. The Lady Tigers have won six of the last 10 meetings between the two schools.
Clemson is led in scoring by freshman Chrissy Floyd. She is averaging 12.2 ppg. The Lady Tigers are led in rebounding by Erin Batth with a 7.4 rpg. mark. Batth is the Lady Tigers’ second leading scorer with a 9.5 ppg. average. Krystal Scott leads the Lady Tigers in assists with 48 or 2.8 assists per game.
Virginia is led in scoring by Schuye LaRue with a 15.3 ppg. average. She also leads the Cavaliers in rebounding with a 7.0 rpg. mark.
