Clemson To Face N.C. State Thursday Night

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play at N.C. State on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, NC on Thursday, February 12.

Clemson has a 15-7 record overall, and a 5-6 mark in the ACC. N.C. State has a 13-11 record overall and a 5-6 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 65-50 loss to Florida State Sunday. N.C. State upset 12th-ranked North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC Sunday afternoon, 62-54.

The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with an 17.5 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 7.7 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (84) and steals (57).

Kaayla Chones leads the Wolfpack in scoring (15.2 ppg.) and rebounding (7.7 rpg.) This will be the 66th meeting between Clemson and N.C. State. N.C. State leads the overall series 39-26. However, the Lady Tigers have won 10 of the last 15 games between the two schools including a 77-64 win over the Wolfpack on January 11, in Clemson, SC.
