Clemson to face Maryland in regular season finale.

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to Maryland on Sunday afternoon, (February 27) in Littlejohn Coliseum at 2:00 p.m.

Clemson has a 17-9 record overall, and a 7-8 mark in the ACC. Maryland has a 15-11 record overall and a 7-8 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 102-45 loss to third-ranked Duke Friday night in Durham, NC.

The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with a 16.5 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 7.0 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (95) and steals (64).

Shay Doron leads the Terrapins in scoring (12.8 ppg.). Kalika France leads Maryland in rebounding with a 6.7 rpg. mark.

This will be the 54th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the basketball court. Maryland leads the overall series 29-24. Maryland defeated Clemson 68-55, at College Park, MD on January 29. Clemson has won nine of the last 14 games played between the two teams.

It will also be the last home games for four Clemson seniors. The 2003-04 Lady Tiger seniors include Lakeia Stokes, Maggie Slosser, Julie Aderhold, and Kanetra Queen.
