Clemson Rowing to Race in the Rivanna Romp

CLEMSON, SC – The Tigers will end their fall season this Sunday at the Rivanna Romp in Charlottesville, VA. Clemson rowing will face ACC rivals Virginia and North Carolina, as well as NCAA competition from Ohio State on the 4,500 meter course.

Both Virginia and Ohio State will face the Tigers in the Varsity 8+, the Novice 8+ and the Varsity 4+. North Carolina will only race in the Novice 8+.

Last weekend, the Tigers competed in the Head of the Hooch Regatta. Clemson rowers claimed first place in the Novice 8+ race, while finishing fourth in the Championship 4+ and fifth in the Championship 8+.

The Rivanna Romp will conclude the fall season for the Clemson rowing team. Clemson will open the traditional spring season in March.
