Clemson Men’s Track And Field To Open Outdoor Season On Saturday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s track and field team will open its 2004 outdoor season on Saturday as the Tigers host the Clemson Relays at the Rock Norman Outdoor Track and Field Complex. The meet will begin at 10:00 AM with the hammer throw, and the running events for the men will commence at 10:25 with the 5000m run. Saturday’s meet is scheduled to conclude at 5:40 PM with the 4x400m relay.

At 10:25 AM, Greg Isaacs will take to the track to compete in the 5000m run, followed by two Tiger 4x1500m relay teams at 11:45 AM. Lydell Perry, Rashad Gardner and Rashad Gardner will represent in the 400m hurdles and the Tigers’ 4x200m relay team will compete at 4:25 PM. Two Clemson distance medley relay teams will take to the track and 4:55 PM and three Clemson 4x400m relay teams will wrap up the meet at 5:40 PM.

Derek Gilson, Derek Gilson, Derek Gilson, Nick Caramanico will compete in the discus throw.
