Clemson Men’s Tennis To Play Doubleheader This Weekend

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will travel to Tallahassee, FL this weekend to take on Florida A&M and Florida State. The Tigers will face the Rattlers on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., and then play Florida State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The Tigers enter this weekend’s matches with a 12-5 overall record and a 1-0 mark in the ACC. Clemson most recently dropped a 5-2 match to Miami in Coral Gables, FL. In ACC action, the Tigers posted a 7-0 win over NC State on Mar. 2.

This will be the first meeting between Clemson and Florida A&M. The Rattlers are 9-9 on the season.

The Tigers hold a 13-10 all-time advantage over the Seminoles. The two teams last met on the court in 2002 as Clemson fell to Florida State by a score of 6-1. The Seminoles are 8-6 overall and 2-0 in the conference with wins over NC State and then-25th-ranked Wake Forest.
