Clemson Men’s Tennis Downs UNC-Greensboro, 4-0

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team defeated UNC-Greensboro 4-0 on the first day of the Clemson Spring Classic at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Clemson, SC. The Tigers improve to 7-4 overall, while the Spartans drop to 0-6 on the season.

In singles play, Nathan Thompson defeated Julio Moran 6-3, 6-3 at number one singles. At flight two singles, Jarmaine Jenkins downed Marc Ladouceur by a score of 6-2, 6-4. The Tigers’ Damiisa Robinson posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over the Spartans’ Pieter Visse at number three singles. At number four singles, Micah Thompson defeated Rohan Kronti 6-3, 6-4.

The Tigers are scheduled to play Tennessee Tech and West Virginia on day two of the Clemson Spring Classic.
